THE CHALLENGE: Geomatrix struggled to identify, recruit and hire Principal Engineers that could help grow their environmental consulting engineering practice and revenues. Traditional methods employed by the company did not bring in candidates with the required specialties. They were tired and frustrated by the process.
Candidates needed the domain expertise in environmental, hydrological and/ or civil engineering, but also had to be able to produce new consulting revenues to grow the practice.
OUR SOLUTION: Cardinal Mark immediately launched an in depth discovery process with Geomatrix to scope out the environmental consulting market, promising candidate sources and a detailed position profile.
An extensive research effort was made to identify passive candidates that had the right background and were looking for an opportunity to step into an industry leading, growth oriented firm. Cardinal Mark screened, interviewed and led Geomatrix’s interview process with a number of very qualified candidates. Geomatrix offered positions to two candidates. Cardinal Mark succesfully worked through the offer negotiations and job transition issues with both candidates. Geomatrix started seeing the revenue results they were looking for immediately.
